Proof66 Notes

Kalinka vodka is made from a base of wheat-grain, a traditional base for Russian and Slavic vodkas called "luxe." The export expression also includes an infusion of "golden Russian apples, virburnum berries and fresh mint." This is still classified as a neutral vodka, which we understand is permissible as imported vodka if it's below a 2% threshold (though vodka purists might quibble). This appears to be a flavoring rather than a base for the alcohol because of the verb "infusion" in the production process description. Their vodka is blended down with water obtained from well greater than 120 feet deep with silver alloys.
