Proof66 Notes

Two James 28 Island Vodka is made from a blended grain base of wheat and corn, which combines the Russian/French style of vodka with the popular American corn grain base. According to the write-up at Model D Media (Nicole Rupersburg), the name of the vodka is from the 28 islands on the Detroit river that we used as hideouts for bootleggers (or, as we like to think of them, daring patriots) during Prohibition.
