Proof66 Notes

Armorik Double Maturation Breton Single Malt French whisky is named because of the first maturation in classic French oak in the Armorik Highlands but then given a finish in sherry casks, a practice very popular and common in single malt scotch.

Armorik Double Maturation whisky was named Best Other Whiskey in the 2014 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Warenghem Distillery is in northern France and founded on what they describe as "Breton" principles of spirits, which extends to their whiskey making.
