Proof66 Notes

The Bunnahabhain Ceobanach single malt (pronounced "kyaw - bin - och") translates as "smoky mist" and signals the "intensely peated" quality of the scotch for which Islay in general and Bunnahabhain in particular is so well-known. It is aged in ex-bourbon American oak casks and bottled without filtering, suggesting a "chewier," more viscous mouthfeel. They suggest looking for flavors of white pepper, bitter orange, liquorice, and sea salt among others.
