Proof66 Notes

Coppersea New York Corn Whiskey is a blend of 80% corn grain with 20% malted barley. It could be considered a bourbon except for the fact it is aged not in charred new oak barrels (virgin barrels) but ex-bourbon casks, rye casks, brandy casks, and wine casks. The specific aging techniques are not available but different barrels are often used in malt whiskey to add flavor, color and depth.
